As you would be aware the corona virus is impacting all aspects of Australian life, including grass roots football.
On Tuesday 17 March, Football Federation Australia (FFA) announced “that after considered discussion with its nine State and Territory Member Federations and assessment of developments today, sanctioned grassroots football competitions and associated training would be suspended for the next four weeks.”
Bankstown District Amateur Football Association (BDAFA) have put out the following announcement in response … “As a governing body, it is our responsibility to put the safety and of our participants before anything else. BDAFA, in line with our governing body announcement, will be postponing the commencement of the 2020 season. This is not an easy decision but one that has been made in collaboration with many stakeholders.
All Football activities can re-commence from the 15th of April 2020 and our first round will now commence 2nd and 3rd of May 2020.”
What does this mean for us at Panania Diggers SC ?

After 14 April we will recommence training and trial matches. We are planning our Neil Hannah trial matches against Revesby Workers on 19 April.
