BDAFA for Female Football Week 2022, hosted by Panania Diggers Soccer Club are promoting:

“Women in Football Day”

Sunday 28th August at Kelso Park South.

(All proceeds to the McGrath Foundation for Breast Cancer Support.)

Female Football Week is a nationwide initiative to celebrate the immense growth of women’s football at all levels of the game and acknowledge and promote the important role women play in developing football.

In 2022 Female Football Week takes place from Friday 6th to Sunday 15th May. Due to poor weather conditions “Women in Football” has been rescheduled.

The objective of Female Football Week is to drive female participation at all levels of the game.

This year Bankstown District Amateur Football Association (BDAFA) in collaboration with the Panania Diggers Soccer Club, will be holding the “BDAFA Women in Football Day” at Kelso on 28th August 2022. A BDAFA Competition round for all Female ages/grades will be held on the day.

This year we want to do something special, not only to make the day different to other rounds, so we are supporting The McGrath Foundation for the work they do for many families like our own.

We have a few plans so far that I would like to share with you.

⚽ * 25 fluro pink vests and McGrath Foundation caps for our main helpers/coordinators for the day.
⚽ * We are having a cake stall, with many of the all age players and families baking cakes. All proceeds will go to McGrath Foundation.
⚽ * An additional BBQ selling Chicken kebabs/wraps where all proceeds will go to McGrath Foundation, separate to the club’s normal BBQ.
⚽ * McGrath Foundation will have a stand. Have balloons being printed with McGrath Foundation Community Friend logo on them approved by Foundation.
⚽ * Wood fire pizza food truck
⚽ * Jumping Castle
